THE 13TH WORLD HR CONGRESS

 

After the Winter Olympics, Canada welcomes the world for a second time this year, as we proudly host the 13th WFPMA World HR Congress. The largest trilingual meeting of the global HR community, the event will be held in Montreal from September 27 to 29.

Please note: Exam results have been delayed due to technical difficulties in the exam scoring process. The CCHRA appreciates your patience as we work quickly and diligently to resolve this issue and ensure accurate reporting of exam results.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - MEMBERSHIP SURVEY

 

As a result of the strategic planning initiative that was undertaken in the fall of 2009, the Human Resource Association of New Brunswick (HRANB) will be conducting a professional member survey with our 1,000+ members. The survey will examine members’ perceptions related to quality of services provided and the nature of services that members suggest be offered by HRANB. HRANB is also interested in finding out from current members their ideas on how to grow the membership base. The survey will most likely be conducted in the 4^th quarter of 2010.

The 2010 ACHRA Awards will be held Thursday, October 21^st at the Delta Fredericton in Fredericton, NB. The ACHRA Awards celebrate the best in Human Resources from across Atlantic Canada. Individuals or organizations can be recognized in the following categories:

GOLFING FOR A CAUSE - 5th ANNUAL HRANB MONCTON CHAPTER GOLF TOURNAMENT

 

Great news, this year we've drastically improved our annual Golf Tournament but we still need your help.  One of our major changes this year is that we've partnered with the Canadian Cancer Society.  Everyone has faced challenges or tragedy with cancer either themselves or with someone they know and the HRANB is not immune.  This past year we have had members fighting cancer and have even lost members to that fight.  We think it's time to fight back!

IMPORTANT CHANGE
NEW DEGREE REQUIREMENT AS OF 2011

 

As of January 1, 2011, CHRP Candidates — those who have passed the National Knowledge Exam™ (NKE) - will require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in order to register for the National Professional Practice Assessment™ (NPPA) and qualify for the CHRP designation.
