Membership Survey Results
Last
December, members were asked to rate the services received by HRANB.
We had over 150 respondents to the survey!
The
results were very positive and each chapter has received a copy
of the survey results. Here is a summary of the findings:
- 90
% were satisfied with the overall services available as an HRANB
member
- 93
% were satisfied with our web site content
- 96
% were satisfied with our ability to deliver bilingual services
- 86
% were satisfied with the quality of professional development
activities
- 90
% were satisfied with the quality of activities organized by the
local chapter
- 76
% were satisfied with the new member kits – many indicated
they were not aware each new member now receives a new member
kit
- 95
% were satisfied with the bi-annual newsletter
- 93
% were satisfied with e-mail notices
- 95
% were satisfied with the annual membership rate of $100 per year
- 97
% were satisfied with the membership directory
- 98
% were satisfied with our ability to respond to inquiries in a
timely fashion
While
most members do know who the executive members of their local chapter
are, most did not know who the executives of the provincial committee
were. The provincial committee is comprised of chapter presidents
plus additional members from the chapters. For further details visit
our website at this link: http://www.hranb.org/hranb-chapters.htm
or consult your printed membership directory.
There
were many suggestions for improvements and you will see many of
these implemented shortly. We are currently working on the following
items in the next year to better serve our members:
- Our
first ever provincial conference in October in Moncton
- Offering
more professional development days (a full day of training) each
year
- An
Atlantic HR Magazine for our members
- Website
improvements making navigation easier
- More
options to help prepare for CHRP exams (classroom training and
on-line courses)
- The
development of a new survey for our members on the top 10 HR concerns
– linked with developmental activities to adress these concerns
-
Activities for senior HR leaders
We
look forward to continue serving our members and welcome any suggestions
for improvement at any time.
