CCHRA
Staffing Announcements
TANYA
O'CALLAGHAN has joined CCHRA as a Marketing and Communications
Specialist.
Fluently
bilingual, Tanya joins CCHRA from the Canadian Federation of Humane
Societies where she has been Communications Director and Francophone
Liaison for the past five years. Prior to that, Tanya held the position
of Account Coordinator at Delta Media Inc., a public relations agency
in Ottawa. Earlier in her career she was a Business reporter for
In Business Media and a Freelance reporter for Radio-Canada, the
Ottawa Citizen and the Aylmer Bulletin.
Tanya
has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University and
is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
Throughout her career, Tanya has gained experience in writing, research,
media relations, communications, government relations, advertising
and promotion, and web content development.
Tanya
will be taking the lead on those activities relating to the fourth
priority of the CCHRA 2008 Business Plan – developing the
marketing and communications strategy to promote the profession
and the designation. She is heading up the CCHRA Marketing and Communications
Committee.

KYM
GRENIER has joined CCHRA as Administrative Assistant and
Board and Committee Secretary.
Fluently
Bilingual, Kym has held Administrative Assistant positions at Pédagogie
Culturelle, the Canadian Payments Association and the Canadian Council
for Health Services Accreditation. She is familiar with the demands
of a busy, volunteer organization!
Kym
will be taking on the responsibility for Board and CCHRA committees,
including setting up meetings, minute taking, travel arrangements
and follow up. In addition to supporting the staff of CCHRA, she
will assist David Knudson with the responsibilities of the Board
Secretary role.
