June 2007 Newsletter

NEWS AND THANK YOU'S

Did you know:

> Ten years ago, HRANB was hoping to get 100 members throughout the province; we currently have over 760 members and five chapters. What a difference a decade makes!

> HRANB hosted the CCHRA (Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations) board meeting in May 2007 in Fredericton. The board is comprised of directors from every province. They were quite impressed with the city and New Brunswickers' hospitality, as many had never even been in N.B.

> The membership directory will be delivered to you shortly. For new members who joined the association after May 15th, 2007, please communicate with Solange Gagnon at solange@hranb.org to receive your copy.

> For those who are thinking about writing their CHRP exam in fall of 2007, the deadline to register is August 17th, 2007.

Please note: If you do not have a bachelor’s degree and think you will be working towards your CHRP designation, you should plan on writing the both exams before 2011 as after this date, a bachelor’s degree will be a pre-requisite to write the exam.
