CHRP
Facilitated Learning Sessions
HRANB
is now offering the CHRP NKE & NPPA Facilitated Learning Sessions
in partnership with the British Columbia Human Resource Management
Association.
The
sessions are designed to help the participants consolidate the knowledge
they already have, and, more importantly, identify where they need
to focus additional studying in order to be successful in completing
this multiple-choice assessment.
During
the NKE interactive workshop, the participants will review and discuss
important HR theory for each competency area. They will also analyze
sample exam questions which will enable them to identify knowledge
gaps.
The NPPA facilitated learning session provides
an opportunity for CHRP candidates to collaboratively work with
peers to review potential exam questions and possible solutions
for the NPPA.
We
are pleased to announce that Cindy McKinley, David
Cannon and Margot Rankin will be our instructors
for the CHRP Facilitated Learning Sessions.
Cindy
achieved her CHRP designation in November 2006 and is an HR Consultant
based in Fredericton. She has more than 10 years of experience as
a Human Resources Manager and Consultant in British Columbia and
New Brunswick. She has experience in HR professional development
instruction and facilitation and has led a wide range of strategic
HR projects in the private, public and voluntary sectors.
David
achieved his CHRP designation in December 1990. Now semi-retired,
David is putting much of his time into volunteer work as an Executive
member of the HRANB. He has also provided eighteen weeks of instruction
over the past year to students in the Human Resources Management
program at the Moncton campus of CompuCollege. David has over 25
years in HR management, most recently as the Canadian VP HR for
ICT Group, Inc. responsible for over 4000 staff in 17 facilities.
His instruction and his experiences have provided him with a wealth
of knowledge towards both the NKE and PPA RPCs.
Margot
achieved her CHRP designation in February 2003. She has a certificate
in Adult Education from Saint Francis Xavier University. Margot
has over 9 years of Human Resources experience and she is currently
employed with Irving Oil Limited. Margot has had the opportunity
to facilitate numerous training sessions throughout her career.
