Cheryl
Lamerson CHRP joins CCHRA as Manager, Professional Standards
Lynn
Palmer, CEO and Diane Wiesenthal, President, Canadian Council of
Human Resources Associations are pleased to announce the appointment
of Cheryl Lamerson as Manager, Professional Standards.
Cheryl
joins CCHRA after a distinguished career with the Canadian Armed
Forces, having achieved the rank of Colonel in 2000. She has most
recently been Director, Personnel Generation Policy and prior to
that Director, Human Resources Research & Evaluation. Earlier
in her career she held positions in Personnel Selection, Training,
Career Assistance and Diversity.
An
avid author and speaker on critical issues in the field of human
resources, Cheryl has a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
from the University of Guelph, an M.A.Sc. in the same field from
Saint Mary’s University, and a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from
the University of Waterloo. She is also a Certified Human Resources
Professional.

have been privileged to have been able to attract this quality of
individual to our organization” noted Rick Hackett, Professor,
McMaster University and Member of the Professional Standards Committee
of CCHRA. “We look forward to working with Cheryl to continue
to enhance the quality of professional standards for our profession”
