It
is with great pleasure that I begin my term as president. I look
forward to working with our wonderful group of over 800 HR professionals
and associates.
We are very fortunate to have such competent teams
of dedicated professionals in all of our 5 chapters. We greatly
value their time and help in developing the association through
various activities and services to our members.
An exciting, challenging and ever-changing field,
HR plays a critical function in public and private sector organizations.
At the HRANB, our goal is to develop, support and equip HR professionals
with the tools needed to meet these challenges.
Besides our existing resources, which include a nationally
recognized CHRP designation, regular breakfast meetings, professional
development sessions, a membership directory, as well as a national
voice through the Canadian Council of Human Resources Association
(CCHRA), we are continually working to provide even more services
to our members.
To improve our association, we have added bilingual
services, on-line tools, timely newsletters as well as many other
new initiatives for our members to enjoy. Our goal is to work with
you and for you in developing the HR profession.
