| Job Description: |
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the HR Department and its associated programs and functions in support of corporate goals and objectives. This will be accomplished by conducting short and long-term planning efforts, designing HR programs, and overseeing the development and implementation of company policies and procedures. The HR Manager shall engage the organization in achieving its business and people objectives, as well as timely policy and collective agreement interpretation and subsequent actions. |
| Qualifications: |
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or equivalent.
•Minimum 7 years experience in Human Resources.
•Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
•Experience in a unionized environment.
•Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
•Knowledgeable of Hay classification and pay policy.
•CHRP designation considered an asset.

Responsibilities Include
•Leadership of HR functions for the company including, Recruitment, Retention, and Performance Management.
•Leadership of grievance handling and mediation including primary responsibility for industrial relations
•Building strong leadership teams within group to enhance performance and work effectiveness
•Displaying and encouraging the company's culture, values, goals and HR initiatives and programs
•Leading company communication initiatives
•Proactively implementing policy development and delivery
