Human Resources Generalist

The Day & Ross Transportation Group currently has an opening for a Human Resources Generalist at their Head Office in Hartland, New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Company staffing program, employment equity, health and safety, and addressing other issues in the HR area.

Responsibilities

  • Developing sources of qualified job candidates
  • Candidate screening
  • Managing the internal job posting process
  • Directing the corporate employment equity program
  • Directing the health & safety program
  • Managing various projects related to human resource issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or social sciences
  • 3-5 years experience in a human resources role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
